2023 Latrobe Italian Festival Vendor Application

Please read through all the information below before applying for the 2023 season.

Application Process and Timeline

    • Applications Open – January 20, 2023 at 8 pm
    • Applications Close – February 1, 2023 at 11:59 pm
    • Vendor Acceptance or Waitlist Notification – February 10, 2023
    • Vendor Agreement Terms and Conditions Packet– February 17, 2023
    • Vendor Fees Due – March 1st, 2023- $30 late fee penalty for payments after March 1st. Vendor forfeits reservation if payment is not received by April 1st.
    • Vendor-Specific Permits and Insurance Proof Due –March 10, 2023

Latrobe Italian Festivale Dates and Times

    • Saturday, September 9th, 10:00am-9 pm
    • Sunday, September 10th, 10:00am-6 pm

Location

The Latrobe Italian Festival takes place on the 300 block of Thompson Street and in the adjacent parking lot. Thompson Street is closed during the event to through traffic.

Vendor Space Types

Below are the sizes of spaces available and the costs (for both days of the event). All vendors are required to attend both days.

    • 10’x10′ ($200)
    • 10’x10′ with electricity ($250)
    • Food Truck ($450)
    • Food Truck with electricity ($500)
    • Alcohol Vendors ($300)

Vendor Set Up

All vendors are responsible for their own setup, which includes but is not limited to, tents, tent weights, tables, chairs, displays, products, garbage, and signage. All tents are required to have weights attached. All waste must be disposed of properly. A vendor will be removed from the festival if he or she doesn’t follow the proper protocol for waste disposal.

No vehicles are permitted in the market area during the duration of the event.

Vendor Selection

Vendor acceptance is determined by the Latrobe Italian Festival director and staff and is decided based on the following:

    • Vendor Type
    • Products and Product Quality
    • Vendor Social Media
    • Vendor Branding
    • Vendor Availability

Vendor Waitlist

Vendors not accepted will be placed on our waitlist. If a space opens at the festival, we will email vendors from our waitlist.

Vendor Acceptance Notification

All accepted vendors will receive an email by February 10th. The email will contain a Vendor Terms and Conditions packet that must be signed and returned to us by February 17th. Failure to return the packet will forfeit the vendor spot.

Once we receive a vendor’s confirmation, vendors will be sent a Vendor Fee Invoice.

Vendor Fees

All vendor fees for the 2023 season will be due no later than April 1st, 2023. All vendors will receive a Vendor Fee Invoice that can be paid via credit/debit card or by mailing a check.

Vendors who pay after the due date will be charged a $30 late fee. Any vendors who have not paid their vendor invoices by May 1st will be replaced with a waitlist vendor. No refunds will be issued.

Market Cancellations

The Latrobe Italian Festival is rain or shine. We do not refund for cancellations under any circumstances. Vendors cannot transfer funds to another year.

Festival Attendance

Last year, most of our vendors ran out of products. We had thousands of folks attend the event. Please come prepared for an even larger turnout this year.

Application Fee

The Latrobe Italian Festival has implemented a vendor application and processing fee of $15 per vendor for 2023. This fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee a space.
